"I wish I had bought one before and never invested in the 3 wooden coops I have purchased in the past 5 years..."
Looking for an easy care, no maintenance plastic chicken coop?
Available EXCLUSIVELY from The Clever Coop Company and available in two sizes (10-12 hen and a 4 hen), the Snap Lock Chicken Coop has everything required to keep your chickens safe and warm offering a completely hygienic and pest-minimising home for your feathered friends.
Wooden chicken coops dominate the poultry housing market but one of the main things that can really be detrimental to your flock, is the parasite Red Mite. Wooden coops provide an excellent breeding ground for this pest as it is almost impossible to reach and treat all the nooks and crannies inside, making your hens still at risk.
With the Snap Lock Chicken Coops, the high density polyethylene panels provide a surface that can be effortlessly washed and disinfected and with its seamless construction stops any inaccessible hiding places for the mites. The cleverly designed, flat packed coop makes assembly quick and simple without the need for tools and can be up and ready to use in 20 minutes.
Fast Shipping throughout the UK and Europe.
Our Coops are Completely Washable!
No wooden chicken coop can compare to our Clever Coops as they can be washed throughout with a hose or even a pressure washer and are quick drying! Wipe over with a chamois leather and you're done!
Removable Litter & Nest Box Trays
For ease of cleaning, the coops feature slide out litter and nest box trays. These trays are easy to access and means they can be emptied and replaced within minutes.
Both the large and standard coops have adjustable front and back ventilation. These vents enable a good air circulation within the coop which helps to remove humidity and harmful ammonia fumes; crucial to your bird's wellbeing.
Insulated, Double-Walled Construction
The insulating, double-walled construction; keeping your hens warm in the winter and cool in the summer as well as providing stability to the unit and both models are fitted with adjustable ventilation providing good air circulation inside the coop. The overall structure is robust and made to last, a far cry from other flimsy, cheap plastic housing that is on the market.

Coop & Stand Assembly
Delivered flat-packed, your coop can be ready for your chickens within 30 minutes - how Clever is that!
The coops are simple to put together due to the ingenious 'snap together' construction with no special tools required. The structure provides a secure and rigid seal.
When it comes to interlocking the panels together, just make sure the tabs are lined up with the slots before snapping together. You may also find lining one edge up first and then aligning the rest will make assembly run more smoothly.
Both coops come complete with clear and concise instructions and our two assembly videos below show how simple it really is!
Having your coop raised off the ground is highly recommended. Not only is it a more convenient height for cleaning, it provides weather protection for your chickens, a place to hang your drinker or feeder plus it prevents rodents from burying underneath your coop.
